Absolutely. The sermon archive, builder, Bible tools, calendar, presenter mode, export, and illustration library all work without any AI configuration. AI features are optional enhancements — you bring your own API key from Claude or OpenAI.
Each AI-powered action (analysis, outline generation, Q&A, repurposing, etc.) counts as one AI call. Fetching Bible verses, commentary, or cross-references does not count — those use built-in data, not AI.
Yes. Upload individual files (DOCX, PDF, RTF, TXT) or batch import entire archives via ZIP upload. SermonBuilderPro also supports audio/video transcription for spoken sermons.
Yes. You can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time. When downgrading, your existing content is preserved — you just won't be able to add more until you're within your new plan's limits.
Currently, yes. You configure your own Claude or OpenAI API key in settings. This means you pay for AI usage at cost — no markup. We're exploring a bundled option for future releases.
